This couple owns 15 apartments/townhouses with 1-2 bedrooms in the Vilas area, which is near Lake Wingra, the Arboretum, Meriter & St. Mary's Hospitals. The largest building contains four units. There are also a few houses available for rent. Most properties have garages. All have hardwood floors. Apartments have from 1-2 bedrooms. Rents range from $725 - $900 per month. Utility payment dependent on property. Garages are available with most apartments. No pets allowed. They only rent to grad students. Ken and Angie live in area and do most of maintenance and lawn work themselves.
The resident who has rented from the Kileys for 4 four years said, "I don't feel you could find a nicer rental property in Madison in terms of location, privacy, and the house itself."

According to the resident who recommended them, the Sauk Creek Apartments are in an excellent location and are well-priced.
"The apartment building was built in the early 90's and the landlords spend a lot of money on maintainence and updates (I have a new dishwasher, new refrigerator, new washer/dryer, new carpet, new tile floor in the kitchen/bathroom, and a new stove with the fancy flat top). Price is very reasonable----I pay $745 per month, but there are apartments both less and more expensive. Skylight and a balcony in my loft style apt. Excellent selection of free videos for checkout from the office. The neighborhood is very upscale/safe, and there is a nice park next door. The other tenents are typically quiet (no parties) and very nice.....a middle age group of working adults. Easy drive to UW in the morning 10-15 minutes even in the winter. Very close to the West Town Mall (3-4 minutes). Very close to the beltline. I haven't had any problems here."
